To remind us: Social Start Ups project aims to support the Ethical Purchasing Groups in Croatia, France and Italy and to support the development and creation of social enterprises that create value and impact at different level ( social, economical and environmental ) in the local communities. The Social Start -Ups project includes several outputs : a mapping of ethical purchasing groups, a methodology to both set up and run a social entrepreneurship project but also a methodology to accompany the project leaders. To this end, between January and June 2016, AMSED proposed seven training modules for the creation of social enterprise The objective was to test and validate a methodology proposed by our English partner, “Future University” in Plymouth. A total of twenty-five participant were able to benefit from the coaching for the creation of social enterprise.
The training consisted of 6 modules: introduction (definition of social entrepreneurship, knowing eachother, brainstorming) / structure (roles and responsibilities, decision making) marketing / marketing action plan (communication, negotiation, organization and implementation of marketing) sales, finance and pricing (find the right price, make a business plan and business model) / output (production planning, choice of producer, storage and distribution) / safety, hygiene, food quality and certification and finally consolidation and sustainability.
